The softening system utilizes sodium ion exchange resin technology. When hard water passes through the resin layer, calcium and magnesium ions are adsorbed by the resin while sodium ions are released, effectively softening the water. The system automatically regenerates using salt water when resin capacity is reached.

Equipment must be placed horizontally with inlet water pressure maintained at 1.0-1.5 KG/CM². The salt box should be positioned close to the exchange tank with minimal salt absorption pipe length. Regular maintenance ensures extended equipment lifespan and optimal performance.
