Product Description
Automation Operational Runs Stainless Steel Reverse Osmosis Pure Water Configuration
DI Ultrapure Water Device - Electronic Optical Disc Production Water System
Ultrapure Water Equipment Overview
Our ultrapure water equipment features a comprehensive pretreatment + reverse osmosis + EDI system that effectively removes salts, impurities, bacteria, and other contaminants from water, ensuring output quality meets enterprise production requirements. The system employs an integrated design with modular installation, offering low energy consumption and minimal space requirements.
The system integrates RO reverse osmosis and EDI technology with constant flow pressure control, working in conjunction with pretreatment systems to deliver stable water quality, easy operation, low operating costs, environmental friendliness, and simplified maintenance. Produced water achieves resistivity ≥ 18.2MΩ.CM at 25°C.
EDI High Purity Water Technology
EDI serves as the secondary desalination equipment following reverse osmosis, capable of producing water quality up to 10-18.2MΩ.CM. This technology is widely applied in microelectronics, semiconductor manufacturing, power generation, pharmaceutical industries, and laboratories. It also serves as pharmaceutical distilled water, food and beverage production water, power plant boiler makeup water, and high purity water for various applications.
EDI utilizes anion and cation membranes in symmetrical stacked configuration with ion exchange resins. Under direct current voltage, ion exchange occurs while water electrolysis generates H+ and OH- ions that continuously regenerate the resins. This continuous exchange-regeneration process enables production of increasingly pure water, easily achieving high purity standards.
Combining reverse osmosis technology with ion exchange, EDI equipment features intelligent microprocessor control systems that automatically monitor and display water quality while ensuring consistent water production volume.
EDI Technology Advantages
EDI technology offers significant advantages over traditional mixed ion exchange (MB-DI):
- Ion exchange resin usage reduced to approximately 5% of traditional methods
- No chemical regeneration required, eliminating acid, alkali, and cleaning water consumption
- Environmentally friendly clean production technology with no waste discharge
- Easy automation integration with stable water quality when combined with RO technology
- Produces water meeting national electronic grade I standards with resistivity of 15-18MΩ-cm
- Excellent removal capability for weakly dissociated substances including CO₂, silicon, boron, and ammonia
- Continuous pure water production process without regeneration downtime
